Powder brows is a cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, similar to a tattoo gun.

Touch-ups:

After your first session, results fade 30-50%. Most clients need a 6 week touch-up to perfect the shape and color. Imperfection is normal after the first session, the touch-up is meant to perfect & re-implement the work.

Results last 2-3 years.

Yearly touch-ups are recommended to keep the shape and color fresh.

Does it hurt? - Pain levels vary from person to person. Strong topical anesthetic cream is used during the procedure to keep you as pain-free as possible.
Instructions
Brow - Pre-Procedure
-
Plan trips / events a minimum of 14 days after the procedure. It is highly recommended that you avoid sun and tanning bed exposure for 14 days before and after your procedure.

No botox 2 weeks before the appointment

No retinols / Retin-A or other anti-aging / acne creams or serums containing acids will cause quicker fading. Must stop use 6 weeks before for optimal results.

No chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments 6 weeks before or after the procedure.

Do not work out or sweat heavily the day of the procedure or 7-10 days after

Do not tan or have a sunburned face the day of
-
Do not take any blood thinners 48 hours before

No alcohol or caffeinated drinks 24 hours before

No waxing or tinting 3 days before

Smoking may lead to slower healing of wounds and/or excess bleeding.
Brow - Aftercare

Always wash hands before touching brows.

On the day of the procedure cleanse brows every 2 hours as soon as you get home until bedtime.

Wash hands, wet q-tip in water, wipe brows, dip q-tip in mild soap, swipe brows 3 times, rinse off the soap with water, pat completely dry with a clean paper towel.

Starting the day of the procedure use balm when brows feel dry, tight or itchy & every night before bed until flaking is complete.

Cleanse morning & night with q-tip until flaking is done, then go back to normal routine

No direct sun, no sweating, until flaking is complete (7-14 days)
-
No steamy showers, sauna, hot tub, facials, until flaking is complete.
-
If the area starts to flake - DO NOT PICK
-
No eyebrow hair removal for at least 2 weeks
-
No makeup, lotion, or skin products on brows until flaking is complete
-
During the 40-day healing process, it is best to not use creams that contain acids or ingredients that lighten and exfoliate the skin

Brow - Contraindications

Pregnant or breastfeeding

Bleeding disorder

On antibiotics- must be off for 2 weeks. Medicine will reject ink- healing and retention will be affected

Active cold sore on the face- must wait until completely inactive

Prone to keloid scarring

Sunburnt skin

HIV or Hepatitis

Skin disease or irritation in the brow area.

If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you must wait at least one year.

Neurotoxin injection within two weeks.
